This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Kenai River Canyon is a magnificent location to go if you're at Jean Lake, and if you've had enough of Jean Lake, Dogteam Lake is close by. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Seven Lakes Trail; you can stay the night at Sunrise Inn and RV Park. Paddling on Kenai River is so much fun; hiking along the Fuller Lake Trail is perfect fun. Jean Lake gets very little rain; September       is the month that gets the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. All through the summer months at Jean Lake temperatures are commonly in the 60's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Jean Lake are in the 0's. Jean Lake is not the only location nearby, Upper Jean Lake is a nearby lake; going for a hike along the Schooner Bend Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this                  area.
