This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some tremendous whitewater; Jaland Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Heaven RV Park is a pleasant local campground. High temperatures at Jaland Lake through the summertime are in the 60's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally       in the 10's while Jaland Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Lake Lucille Inn is a good site to get some rest; you're perhaps interested in lakes, Baptist Pond is one of those nearby. After a long day outdoors Anchorage Area (Eagle River)Alaska is a great spot to spend a night or two; going to Katmai National Park                  & Preserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Just can't get enough of the Talkeetna Mountains. Jaland Lake is a location with many visitors from Anchorage; camping at Eagle River Campground is always a delightful experience.
