It is very arid here at Jacobsen Lake commonly; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is April. Jacobsen Lake is a beautiful lake in the Talkeetna Mountains. Paddling on Eagle River is so much fun, and you can stay the night at Peters Creek Campground. For the period of the days of summer at Jacobsen Lake highs are ordinarily in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime       highs all through the winter are in the 10's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jacobsen Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Jacobsen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Heaven RV Park, and a lake close by is Bruce Lake. So much amusing stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains, just inspiring.
