Summer brings highs in the 60's to Islet Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Islet Lake tend to be in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Islet Lake a wet spot; through the month of October you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile is the driest month.       Going for a hike on the Mitchell Bay Trail is always a great adventure, and close by you discover the Hasselborg-Guerin Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Islet Lake called the Lake Alexander Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Silverbow Inn.
