The high level of rain makes Island Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month of the year is July. At Island Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 60's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Island Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
