Lakes? Sure, Bradley Lake is nearby; since you're here you can play some golf at Fishhook Golf Course. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Talkeetna Mountains is excellent! Dry warm beds await you at Agate Inn, and camping at Mountain View RV Park is always a good experience. At Irene Lake       all through the summer highs are in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Irene Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot for whitewater paddling close to Irene Lake is Archangel Creek, and a good swamp in the neighborhood of Irene Lake is Spring Creek. There's just no                  way somebody can get bored here at Irene Lake. A tremendous spot to camp here at Irene Lake is Homestead RV Campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Canoe Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Talkeetna Mountains has to offer.
