Lakes are tremendous; Lower Lake George is a lake that's near Inner Lake George; why not stop by Colony Point also while you're here. At Inner Lake George you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most, and March on the other hand is the driest. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Inner Lake George. Once the       sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Inner Lake George temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Chugach Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Alyeska is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Matanuska River.
