    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Alaska you can check out Hudson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Northern Nights Campground, and if you've had enough of Hudson Lake, Tonsina Lake is nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Hudson Lake. There are brilliant places to discover along the Klutina Lake Trail. At Hudson Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and April is when it's the driest.
There's
 
   so much to do here at Hudson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tolsona wilderness Campground is a splendid location for that, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Klutina River. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Hudson Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 0's while the cold winter nights at Hudson Lake are in the-20's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tazlina  
               River, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Greyling Lake is just a very short distance away.
Go for a hike on the Klutina Lake Trail, and dropping by Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
