The wintertime brings highs down to the-10's with temperatures at Horseshoe Lake dipping down into the-20's through winter nights.       This lake is one of the great places here in the Ray Mountains. There are other places here than Horseshoe Lake, for example Sixmile Lake; getting to Eightmile Slough from Horseshoe Lake is trouble-free.
