That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Horseshoe Lake has it all. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Nenana River. This lake is located in the wonderful Alaska Range. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Otto Lake in the vicinity of Horseshoe Lake, it's a       pretty lake, and Lynx Creek Pizza is a fine local campground. Around Horseshoe Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Horseshoe Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 0's, and overnight lows through the winter for Horseshoe Lake tend to be in the-20's.                  If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Alaska Range.
