Lake Hideaway is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Lake 'O' the Hills, and if you came to camp Centennial and Lions Campground is a brilliant spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Hilltop; the views at Katmai National Park & Preserve will blow your mind. Not far from Lake Hideaway you get some brilliant

| | water scenery at Lake 'O' the Hills Dam, and if you need a place to stay Ramada Limited Anchorage is a pleasant choice. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Lake Hideaway. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Campbell Creek, and a delightful nearby hotel is Country Rose Manor B&B. April. During your visit to Lake Hideaway you'll meet some people from Anchorage for sure, and you can run the rapids of Ship Creek. Lake Hideaway is right by the Bull Rock Trail; the skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is pleasant.

Golden Nugget Camper Park
 | Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
