Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is a brilliant local ski area; Ramada Limited Anchorage is a brilliant place to get some rest. A good location to camp here at Lake Hideaway is Centennial and Lions Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ship Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lake 'O' the Hills Dam is not far at all from Lake Hideaway, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure,       Cheney Lake is just a very short distance away. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Hideaway get into the 60's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's; night lows in the 0's for Lake Hideaway. Get covered with water paddling on Campbell Creek, and the slopes of Hilltop are so inviting noone can resist. There are wonderful sites to look at along the Bull Rock Trail, and why not camp at Golden                  Nugget Camper Park if you're here at Lake Hideaway. Lake Hideaway is typically a quite dried out location; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; April is when it's the driest.
