Having a great time at Hess Lake is uncomplicated. Why not camp at Alaskan Trails Rv and Camper Park since you're here at Hess Lake, and Best Western Lake Lucille Inn is a great place to get some rest. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop at Hess Lake right next door to Hess Lake, and if you're stopping by       from Anchorage, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Eagle River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and after a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites Anchorage Area -Eagle River- is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Hess Lake is a beautiful lake in the Talkeetna Mountains. All through the warm months at Hess Lake highs are commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down                  into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 10's while Hess Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains.
