Sitka Super 8 Motel is a fine location to get some rest, and obviously Sawmill Creek flows through this vicinity. Dry warm beds await you at Shee Atika Totem Square Inn, and Sitka National Historical Park is a splendid site nearby. The high level of precipitation makes Heart Lake a quite wet site; October is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June.       This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Heart Lake you should stop at Birdsnest Bay, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Mount Verstovia Trail. There are other sites here than Heart Lake, for example Thimbleberry Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Indian River Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Gavan Hill Trail is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Heart Lake, and you must beyond doubt dedicate                  some time to Billy Basin since you're here at Heart Lake. Summer at Heart Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Heart Lake tend to be in the 20's. Any time is a splendid time at Heart Lake if you adore the outdoors.
