This lake is located in the wonderful Talkeetna Mountains. Yeah, come here to Harrison Lake for a great time. After a long day outdoors Gold Miners Hotel is a glorious place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Kings Mountain can be made out from Harrison Lake, and Chickaloon River is a good whitewater spot close by. While you're here at Harrison Lake you can take a hike along the Chickaloon       Trail; a lake nearby is Drill Lake. A glorious site for whitewater paddling near Harrison Lake is Matanuska River, and Harrison Lake is not the only place close by, Fish Lake is a close by lake. All year is a great time in the Talkeetna Mountains if you love the outdoors. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Chickaloon River Trail, and why not take a little spree to California Creek while you're here. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Harrison Lake.                  Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Harrison Lake drop into the 0's.
