A pleasant nearby hotel is Prospector Hotel, and there's glorious hiking along the Distin Lake Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Guerin a rather wet site; through the month of October you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is June. You could also check out Coo Lake while you're here at Lake Guerin; it's nearby, and brilliant hiking is available along the Mitchell Bay Trail.       This lake is so wonderful. Lake Guerin is not the only site close by, McKinney Lake is a close by lake, and don't leave Lake Guerin without first going for a hike along the Hasselborg-Guerin Trail. For the duration of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 60's at Lake Guerin while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's.
