Summer at Green Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Green Lake are in the 20's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Green Lake is so good!. Shee Atika Totem Square Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and if you haven’t been to Sitka National       Historical Park, you must schedule some time for it if you're here. It's a splendid idea to explore Vodopad River, it's close to Green Lake; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Silver Bay Trail. Green Lake is a quite wet place commonly with lots of rain; through the month of October you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is June. There are nice sites to look at along the Indian River Trail; if you need a location to stay                  Sitka Super 8 Motel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful.
