This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Anchorage Golf Course; John's RV Park and Motel is a wonderful local campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area in the neighborhood of Green Lake has to offer. Why not camp at Finger Lake Resort if you're here at       Green Lake, and there are other sites here than Green Lake, for example Tuomi Lake. Green Lake really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Everybody close by loves skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley, and dry warm beds await you at Anchorage Red Roof Inn. At Green Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while April is commonly the driest month. Get wet paddling on Ship Creek, and splendid                  hiking is available along the Bull Rock Trail. The slopes of Hilltop are so inviting noone can resist, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Campbell Creek. Lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Spring Lake in the neighborhood of Green Lake, and if you haven’t been to Katmai National Park & Preserve, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. All through the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 60's at Green Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Green Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
