On a great day at Green Lake you can take a hike along the Bull Rock Trail, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Sixmile Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Anchorage Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Green Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Finger Lake Resort is a fine spot for that. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. There's whitewater on Campbell       Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Hilltop is a splendid local ski area. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do in close proximity to Green Lake. You can run the rapids of Ship Creek near Green Lake; a nice nearby hotel is Sourdough Lodge. You don’t have to go far from Green Lake to observe the water at Gregory Lake Dam, and the skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is great. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Tuomi Lake near                  Green Lake is a good location to stop by; don't forget to take a glorious little spree to Sixmile Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Green Lake is pretty dry regularly; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. At Green Lake through the summer months highs are in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Green Lake.
