    Grant Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Paradise Valley Trail; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sixmile River. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Grant Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Alaska Hamptons; hiking along the Johnson Pass Trail is brilliant fun. The yearly precipitation  
   here at Grant Lake is about average; through October this area sees the most rain, and May meanwhile is the driest month.
There's so much to do here at Grant Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Primrose Landing Campground is a great place for that. Canyon Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and Kenai Fjords National Park is one of the destinations that are great to go to close by. Trail Lake Lodge is a glorious site to get some
 
               rest, and why not a little side journey to Trail Creek.
If you came to camp Bertha Creek Campground is a brilliant site to do that; do take a hike on the Grant Lake Trail. The warmest time of the year at Grant Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Grant Lake tend to be in the 10's.
