A pretty lake like Lake Otis in the vicinity of Goose Lake is a       great location to take a look at, and a round of golf at nearby Anchorage Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Goose Lake you can take a hike along the Bull Rock Trail, and paddling on Campbell Creek is so much fun. At Goose Lake through the summer highs are in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally                  in the 20's while Goose Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. If you haven’t been to Katmai National Park & Preserve, you should schedule some time for it while you're here, and SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake is a great place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Goose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Golden Nugget Camper Park is a brilliant location for that, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Alpenglow At Arctic Valley. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Country Rose Manor B&B is a good site to spend a night or two, and lakes are such calm locations, why not check out University Lake.
