Goose Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A lake nearby is Lake Otis, and the Bull Rock Trail offers hiking at its best. During the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 60's at Goose Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Goose Lake fall into the 0's. All our national parks

ski area in the vicinity. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Goose Lake has to offer, you can camp at Golden Nugget Camper Park. Goose Lake is mostly a pretty dry site; during the month of September you get the most
rain around here; the driest month of the year is April. If you need a place to stay Alaskan European B&B is a wonderful choice, and this is a popular site for folks from Anchorage. The best way to spend a winter day is on the
slopes of close by Hilltop. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at John's RV Park and Motel, and after a long day outdoors Country Rose Manor B&B is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Float down the rapids of Campbell Creek in a kayak; while you're here, you could go to Middle Fork Chester Creek.

 | Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
