| | Creek. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Goose Lake get into the 60's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Goose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Middle Fork Chester Creek; the snow is delightful at Hilltop.

Goose Lake? University Lake is nearby, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Campbell Creek. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Goose Lake. Head up to Alpenglow
At Arctic Valley and strap some skis to your feet; if you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is Anchorage Golf Course. A good location to camp here at Goose Lake is Golden Nugget Camper Park, and a visit to Katmai National
Park & Preserve is recommended.
At Goose Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture.
