    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Goat Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Goat Lake has to offer, you can camp at Skagway RV Park, and Goat Lake is near Glacier Gorge which is undeniably worth visiting. After a long day outdoors Halsingland Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Goat Lake through the summertime are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout  
   the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Goat Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
Go for a hike on the Nahku Portage, and hey, Captain William Moore Creek is a glorious local stream. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do near Goat Lake. Going for a hike on the Skyline Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and you can stay the night at Liarsville Campground. There are delightful locations to look at along the
 
               Chilkoot Trail, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Pump House Lake is just a very short distance away.
This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Pitchfork Falls; you're possibly into lakes, Summit Lake is one of those nearby. Goat Lake gets much water; October is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is June.
