Goat Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If the weather is fine here at Goat Lake, you can go for a hike along the Redoubt Lake Trail; if you need a place to stay Shee Atika Totem Square Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Goat Lake you can take a hike along the Silver Bay Trail, and as expected, all our national parks are nice places to stop at and Sitka National Historical Park is no exception. | | high temperatures in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Goat Lake. The Sitkoh Lake Trail is a fine hiking trail close to Goat Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Sitka Super 8 Motel. All the water falling down from the sky makes Goat Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is typically October, that's the one that rains the most, and June on the other hand is the driest.
