If you are in this part of Alaska make sure to pay a visit to Goat Lake. Much precipitation falls at Goat Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly October, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Goat Lake called the Sitkoh Lake Trail, of course you could also have a look at Hogan Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.

All through the summertime highs here at Goat Lake reach the 60's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Goat Lake.
