Super 8 Sitka is a pleasant location to get some rest; you can go for a hike on the Redoubt Lake Trail. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Goat Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Goat Lake drop into the 20's. | | good adventure. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Goat Lake is unbeatable!. A journey to Sitka National Historical Park is worthwhile, and if you get bored of Goat Lake you could also check out nearby Hogan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Goat Lake without first going for a hike along the Sitkoh Lake Trail, and Goat Lake is not the only location nearby, Glacier Lake is a nearby lake. A lot of precipitation falls at Goat Lake; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is June.
