Carlson Creek is a brilliant whitewater       spot in the neighborhood of Glory Lake; the top of Annex Peak is easily observed from Glory Lake. Glory Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; October is the month that gets the most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. Lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Oona Lake next to Glory Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Mount Roberts Trail. For the duration of the summertime at Glory Lake highs                  are usually in the 60's with night lows in the 40's.
