     Alaska has many beautiful lakes and Glory Lake is one of them. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Eaglecrest; dry warm beds await you at Silverbow Inn. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Glory Lake, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, generally in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while Glory Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Glory Lake is a wet site that  
   gets a large amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is October while April is generally the driest month.
Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Glory Lake. If you get bored of Glory Lake, you could also visit nearby Annex Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carlson Creek; you can catch a sight of Annex Peak from
 
               Glory Lake. Juneau Hotel is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and Oona Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
While you're here at Glory Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Roberts Trail, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Juneau for sure.
