Golden Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and the summit of Gas Hill can be seen from Glass Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Glass Lake a wet place; September is when you get the most rain here; May meanwhile is the driest month. Why not go to Autumn Bight also since you're here. Lakes are splendid; Leuel Lake is a lake that's close to Glass Lake. Nothing beats kicking back at Canary Beach.
