Glacier Lake is right by the Silver Bay Trail, and after a long day outdoors Shee Atika Totem Square Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Hiking along the Indian River Trail is perfect fun, and a trip to Sitka National Historical Park is worthwhile. For the duration of the summer at Glacier Lake temperatures are regularly in the 60's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently       in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Glacier Lake. Much precipitation falls at Glacier Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily October, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful.
