If time allows, Sitka National Historical Park is a national park worth taking a look at, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Silver Bay Trail. Glacier Lake is a pretty wet place regularly with lots of precipitation; October is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least       amount of precipitation. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Glacier Lake reach the 60's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Glacier Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Medvejie Lake in the vicinity of Glacier Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Sitka is a brilliant choice.
