This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Chickaloon River Trail, and some close by water includes Linquist Creek. Don't leave Fish Lake without first going for a hike along the Chickaloon Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kings River. Summer at Fish Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. During the moonlight       hours it's typically in the 40's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Fish Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. At Fish Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and March is the month with the least moisture. Fish Lake is a beautiful lake in the Talkeetna Mountains. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Talkeetna Mountains rocks!
