The Chickaloon Trail offers hiking at its best, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Matanuska River. This is a nice area for people who like lakes. Drill Lake is a lake around here, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Kings River. There's some flowing water close by, Linquist Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Chickaloon River Trail.       All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Dry warm beds await you at Gold Miners Hotel; you're possibly addicted to lakes, Thirtymile Lake is one of those close by. Yeah, come here to Fish Lake for a great time. It is very waterless here at Fish Lake commonly; September is the month that gets the most rain; March on the other hand is the driest.
