An exciting thing to explore near Fish Lake is Gregory Lake Dam, and Triangle Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is a very popular ski area nearby, and Red Roof Inn Anchorage is a glorious place to get some rest. And that's not all you       can do here at Fish Lake. At Fish Lake you don’t see much rain; through September this area sees the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near Fish Lake has to offer. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Anchorage Golf Course is around here, and float down the rapids of Campbell Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. You'll                  meet a lot of people from Anchorage here, and a lake close by is Sixmile Lake. Katmai National Park & Preserve is a tremendous national park, and camping is available at John's RV Park and Motel. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Ship Creek offers some good whitewater; if you need a site to stay Alaskan European B&B is a pleasant choice. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hilltop, and camping at Golden Nugget Camper Park is always a great experience. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 60's at Fish Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's.
