From a precipitation point of view First Lake is a pretty common site; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; May is the month with the least moisture. Stoney Creek RV Park is a perfect campground nearby, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Carter Lake Trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at First Lake get into the 60's while nighttime lows       are ordinarily in the 40's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and night lows at First Lake during the winter usually sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at First Lake you can take a hike along the Lost Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Harborview Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Some nearby water includes Box Canyon Creek. If you're here at First Lake, do take a trip to Lowell Point;                  at Lowell Creek Dam in the vicinity of First Lake there are some interesting things to see. So much exciting stuff to do here at First Lake, too good to be true. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express SEWARD HARBOR is a delightful choice, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Grant Lake Trail.
