Fawn Lake is a pleasant lake in the neighborhood of Fawn Lake; Bald Headed Cove is very near and is a great spot to take a look at. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things right next door to Fawn Lake. Westcoast Cape Fox Lodge is a good place to get some rest, and Ketchikan Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. On a beautiful day you obtain a vista of Deer Mountains from Fawn Lake, and Fawn Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Admiralty Cove - Tongass National Forest is a good spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. North Fawn Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and you could always discover California Rock. and dry warm beds await you at Inn at Creek St. and NY Hotel. Summertime highs at Fawn Lake regularly tend to be in the 60's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter
are in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Fawn Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Tongass/Ketchikan National Forest is worth visiting, and this is a popular location for people from Ketchikan.

 | 1 PHOTO Hey all, Just for informational purposes, I just got back from camping/fishing on Jim's lake, which is located smack dab in the middle of Admiralty Island, and have posted some pictures for anyone who is interested in visiting. When we booked, we had very little information about the area, cabin, etc., so I thought I would provide some pictures and information about our trip. http://www.jimslakecabin.com We had a great time while we were there for a week--the area was beautiful, and we were pulling out 25-30'' Kokanee left and right.
