Paddling on Wolverine Creek is so much fun; if you've had enough of Falks Lake, Burkholder Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Agate Inn is a glorious choice, and you get a perfect view of Bodenburg Butte from here. Falks Lake is not the only location close by, Butte Lake is a close by lake, and whitewater paddling is fine on Moose Creek. Around Falks Lake you don’t       get a lot of precipitation; through September this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is March. You truly have to go for Falks Lake. Near Falks Lake you discover a golf course called Palmer Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Falks Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bestview Mobile Home Village. Summertime highs at Falks Lake usually tend to be in the 60's; the overnight is a tad chillier of course, ordinarily                  in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Falks Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Talkeetna Mountains.
