The Talkeetna Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors fun stuff right next door to Ezi Slough will keep you coming back persistently. So many fun things in the Talkeetna Mountains, just amazing. Ezi Slough is a good location to visit for more than one day, Homestead RV Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and Agate Inn is a pleasant location to get some rest. The warmest time of the year brings       highs in the 60's to Ezi Slough. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Ezi Slough dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Canoe Lake near Ezi Slough, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Susitna River. Ezi Slough gets very little rainfall;                  the month with most of the rain is September, and April is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay Gold Miners Hotel is a splendid choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ezi Slough has to offer, you can camp at Town and Country RV Park.
