Don't forget to take a great little journey to Currin Slough. Lakes are brilliant; Eyak Lake is a lake that's near Eyak Lake. Going for a hike on the Eyak Trail is always a splendid adventure; a great location for whitewater paddling is Glacier River. Man, is there a load of exciting things to do in the Chugach Mountains. Middle Arm is in the vicinity and always pleasant to visit, and you can run the rapids of Power Creek. Eyak Lake       Dam is lovely and it's near Eyak Lake, and a trip to Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is recommended. A large amount of rain falls at Eyak Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Having a great time at Eyak Lake is simple. Go for a hike on the Lake Elsner Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Scout Lake. The warmest time of the year at Eyak Lake                  arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while Eyak Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Chugach Mountains, too tremendous to be true. Good hiking is available along the Sheridan Mountain Trail.
