Go for a hike on the Lake Elsner Trail, and as expected, this is a brilliant area for people who like lakes, Eyak Lake is a lake nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Going       for a hike on the Eyak Trail is always a great adventure, and get soaked paddling on Glacier River. If you're here at Eyak Lake, you could stop at Currin Slough; Eyak Lake Dam is beautiful. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the Chugach Mountains. Middle Arm is close at hand and always brilliant to go to, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Scout Lake. A good deal of precipitation falls at Eyak Lake; through                  September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. Eyak Lake is one of the lakes here in the Chugach Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Power Creek, and great hiking is available along the Sheridan Mountain Trail.
