Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do close to Eleanor Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is a nice local destination here at Eleanor Lake, and a good spot for whitewater paddling is Power Creek. On a perfect day at Eleanor Lake you can take       a hike along the Sheridan Mountain Trail, and of course, this is a perfect neighborhood for people who like lakes, Siamese Lakes is a lake in the vicinity. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Chugach Mountains. There is a glorious hiking trail close to Eleanor Lake called the Lake Elsner Trail. Lakes are brilliant; Meeks Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Eleanor Lake. The Chugach Mountains scenery is                  always beautiful. Through the warm months highs here at Eleanor Lake reach the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Eleanor Lake.
