Echo Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You truly must fancy the Talkeetna Mountains. Echo Lake is a beautiful lake in the Talkeetna Mountains. Echo Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Mountain View RV Park is a good spot to camp nearby, and a lake close by is Irene Lake.
There's whitewater on Little Susitna River for all you thrill seekers, unsurprisingly you could also explore Baird Lake since you're here; it's not

| | far at all. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Echo Lake; the night is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Echo Lake are in the 0's. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Gold Miners Hotel is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and a golf course close by is Fishhook Golf Course. Having a great time at Echo Lake is uncomplicated.
If you need a site to stay Agate Inn is a magnificent choice; swamps can be such interesting locations, pop by Rabbit Slough since you're here at Echo Lake. At Echo Lake you don’t see much rain; September is when you get the most rain here, and April is when it's the driest.
