Why not stop by Echo Lake if you're passing through these parts. All through the months of summer here at Echo Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Echo Lake tend to be in the 0's. | | Mountain View RV Park is a tremendous site to do that, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Little Susitna River. Echo Lake is located in the Talkeetna Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; Rabbit Slough is in close proximity; golf can be played at Fishhook Golf Course. Baird Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Archangel Creek. | |

Echo Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Homestead RV Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Gold Miners Hotel is a wonderful place to get some rest.
Echo Lake is a location that is quite arid mostly;
September is the wettest month with most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Having a good time at Echo Lake is uncomplicated. After a long day outdoors Agate Inn is a glorious location to spend a night or two.
