Eagle Lake is located in the Chugach Mountains. For the duration of the summertime at Eagle Lake highs are mostly in the 60's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Eagle Lake. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Eagle       Lake. Don't leave Eagle Lake without first going for a hike along the Crow Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Agate Inn, and do stop by Symphony Lake, it's a beautiful lake. If you came to camp Peters Creek Campground is a good place to do that, and you can go for a hike on the Bird Creek Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Chugach Mountains has to offer. There's so much to do here at Eagle Lake                  that you need to camp here for a while, Thunder Bird Falls Campground is a perfect place for that, and Eagle River is a good whitewater spot nearby.
