Lakes are good; Mud Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Duck Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Denali River Cabins and RV Park is a nice place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Settlers Bay Golf Club, and camping is available at Thunder Bird Falls Campground. If you need a place to stay Agate Inn is a delightful choice; a       visit to Duck Flats rejuvenates the soul. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Duck Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some perfect whitewater. Summertime highs at Duck Lake usually tend to be in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Duck Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Duck Lake                  is a location that is pretty dried out mostly; during September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is April. So much cool stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains, just amazing. This is a delightful vicinity for people who like lakes.
