This lake is one of the great places here in the Talkeetna Mountains.       Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains. All year is a good time in the Talkeetna Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Glide down the rapids of Archangel Creek in a kayak; Cottonwood Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. It is very arid here at Dry Lake frequently; most of the rain falls during September, and the driest month of the year is April. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time.                  A perfect close by hotel is ALASKAS SELECT INN WASILLA; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is in close proximity. Summer at Dry Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Dry Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
