Drill Lake is located in the Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Chickaloon River Trail is always a great adventure, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Chickaloon River. Go for a hike on the Chickaloon Trail, and Kings Mountain is a peak you can make out from Drill Lake.
