Mendenhall Lake is a good lake in close proximity to Dredge Lake, and Dredge Lake is right by the West Glacier Trail. Pearsons Pond Inn and Spa is a perfect site to get some rest. There are plenty of people from Juneau here at Dredge Lake; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Lemon Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Eaglecrest is a glorious local ski area, and if you       need a place to stay Juneau Super 8 Motel is a brilliant choice. For the period of the summertime at Dredge Lake temperatures are mostly in the 60's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Dredge Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dredge Lake a wet site; the month with most of the rain is October while April is ordinarily the driest month.                  You can take a little tour to Nugget Creek Dam while you're here at Dredge Lake. Lakes? Sure, Nugget Creek is in close proximity. What a site this is for outdoors people. Getting to Arastra Creek from Dredge Lake is easy, and hiking along the Nugget Creek Trail is wonderful fun. Dredge Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park is a delightful local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Montana Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
