Why not stop by Dredge Lake if you're passing through these parts. Montana Creek is a splendid whitewater spot near Dredge Lake, and Nugget Creek Dam is not far at all from Dredge Lake. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Dredge Lake called the Nugget Creek Trail. Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park is a great local campground, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the West Glacier Trail.

sun is down it dips down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's; overnight lows in the 20's for Dredge Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Auke Bay RV Park is a good campground nearby, and
Arastra Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Near Dredge Lake you find the Lemon Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Juneau Super 8 Motel is a great site to get some
rest.
The high level of rain makes Dredge Lake a rather wet site; October is the wettest month with most rain while April is mostly the driest month.
