Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Montana Creek, and hiking along the West Glacier Trail is perfect fun. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mendenhall River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dredge Lake has to offer, you can camp at Auke Bay RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dredge Lake you can take a hike along the Lemon Creek Trail, and let's not forget Arastra

the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dredge Lake sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Pearsons Pond Inn and Spa is a nice site to spend a night or two, and there's always Nugget
Creek Dam to take a look at close to Dredge Lake. Lots of folks from Juneau come to Dredge Lake. A large amount of rain falls at Dredge Lake; October is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is April.
