Hidden Lake
Hidden lake is a great place to stay for a long weekend. The lake is great and Alaskans swim in it.  If you don't live here I wouldn't recommend it.  A few mosquitoes and whitesocks will bother you.  A LOT of bears so be bear-aware and camp responsibly.  No cell phone reception(I love that). Great boating lake. Other than that, I live near Hidden Lake and truly LOVE to take my RV and boat down for a weekend occasionally.  It's absolutely stunning....

It is REALLY out of the way.  The lake there has fossilized trees jutting from the perimeter and is wild with waterborne vegetation.  The view is ASTONIGHING from the top of the park.  As the sun set, I was literally brought to tears by the expanse and beauty of what I saw.  It changed my life....
