For the period of the warm days of summer here at Distin Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 60's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Distin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Distin Lake gets lots of water; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain; June is the month       with the least moisture. Going for a hike on the Distin Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Prospector Hotel is a magnificent place to get some rest.
