Camping is available at Skagway RV Park, and there's delightful hiking along the Chilkoot Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Devils Punch Bowl; Battery Point Trail is a wonderful local trail; a short spree to Reid Falls is always worthwhile. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do near Devils Punch Bowl. After a long day outdoors Bear Track Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and camping at Liarsville       Campground is always a splendid experience. Don't leave Devils Punch Bowl without first going for a hike along the Skyline Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Reid Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at, and a lake close by is Icy Lake. Devils Punch Bowl is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; October is when you get the most rain here while June is generally the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Devils Punch Bowl comes                  with high temperatures in the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Devils Punch Bowl tend to be in the 10's.
