The beauty of Devils Pass Lake is reason enough to stop by. A fine nearby hotel is Trail Lake Lodge; if you came to camp Kenai Riverside Campground and RV Park is a great site to do that. most rain; April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Pass is a delightful place to stop by in close proximity to Devils Pass Lake, and get drenched paddling on Kenai River. While you're here
at Devils Pass Lake, you could also check out picturesque Cooper Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Stetson Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Cooper Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and soar down the rapids of Canyon Creek in a kayak.

Carter Lake Trail
 | 18 miles away 1 PHOTO Took the hike from the Seward highway and it was a very well maintained trail and good parking lot with even bathrooms. The hike was very intense and switch backed multiple times. Tiny streams cross your path. Once up top it is beautiful. After some time walking threw the alpine, you come across a trail which to the left take you to the lake and to the right takes you to the bear box and camping area. It's a stocked lake so bring your rod.... |
