Really great skiing awaits you at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley, and if you haven’t been to Katmai National Park & Preserve, you must schedule some time for it if you're here. Around Delaney Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; September is when you get the most rain here; April is the month with the least moisture. Looking for some       flowing water? Try Chester Creek, and folks from Anchorage love to come here. Through the days of summer at Delaney Lake temperatures are regularly in the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. While you're here at Delaney Lake you ought to explore Bootlegger Cove, and you can stay the night at Polar Bear Inn. This lake is so wonderful.
