The Bull Rock Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close to Delaney Lake, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Campbell Creek. Around Delaney Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; September is the month that gets the most rain while April is the month       with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Chelsea Inn Hotel, and do have a look at Chester Creek since you're here at Delaney Lake. Summertime highs at Delaney Lake regularly tend to be in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Delaney Lake through the winter commonly dip into the 0's. Not far from Delaney Lake you get some wonderful water scenery at Chester Creek Dam, and this is a popular place for folks from Anchorage.
