You'll need more than a day to explore everything Deep Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bayside Rv Park, and there's whitewater on Lowe River for all you adrenaline people. Summertime at Deep Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows throughout the winter for Deep Lake tend to be in the 10's. Not enough       hours in a day to enjoy the Chugach Mountains. If time allows, Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is a national park worth checking out. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Chugach Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Valdez Glacier Stream, and why not a little side trip to Cameron Creek. The high level of rain makes Deep Lake a reasonably wet place; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain,                  and June meanwhile is the driest month. There are other places here than Deep Lake, for example Crater Lake. There's so much to do here at Deep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Valdez Mobile Home and RV Park is a great spot for that. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Deep Lake. If you need a site to stay Valdez Harbor Inn is a wonderful choice, and Robe Lake is a magnificent lake nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Chugach Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
