Prospector Hotel is a fine place to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hasselborg-Guerin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Davidson Lake; Distin Lake Trail is a nice local trail; there's great hiking along the Mitchell Bay Trail. Davidson Lake ordinarily gets much rainfall; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month       of the year is June. Summertime at Davidson Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
