Dry warm beds await you at ALASKAS SELECT INN WASILLA, as expected you could also go to Gooding Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Dandy Lake is one of the lakes here in the Talkeetna Mountains. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Dandy Lake. Get drenched paddling on Archangel Creek; a great spot to camp here       at Dandy Lake is Rivers Edge Recreation Park. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Little Susitna River, and a lake close by is Cornelius Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Mountain View RV Park is always a perfect experience; Agate Inn is a pleasant location to get some rest. All through the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 60's at Dandy                  Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
