Dry warm beds await you at ALASKAS SELECT INN WASILLA, and Dandy Lake is a splendid location to camp, Mountain View RV Park is a splendid location. Stay the night at Rivers Edge Recreation Park. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. After a long day outdoors Agate Inn is a great site to spend a night or two; get yourself into a kayak and hit Archangel Creek. This       lake is one of the great places here in the Talkeetna Mountains. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Dandy Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dandy Lake drop into the 0's. It is very dry here at Dandy Lake ordinarily; during the month of September you                  get the most rain around here; the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful.
