Crystal Lake is a relatively wet place regularly with a lot of rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Some close by water includes Blind River; an interesting thing to visit close to Crystal Lake is Crystal Lake Dam. Going for a hike on the Duncan Canal Portage is always a delightful adventure; Crystal Lake is a great site       to visit for more than one day, Blind Island Campground is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Crystal Lake you hit upon the Petersburg Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and not far from Crystal Lake you'll locate Crystal Lake which is a picturesque lake. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Crystal Lake called the Colp Lake Trail, and on a magnificent day you can pop by Blind Slough, a swamp close to Crystal Lake.                  Just can't get enough of Crystal Lake. Blind Slough Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and there are other places here than Crystal Lake, for example Petersburg Reservoir. High temperatures at Crystal Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
