Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Crescent Lake. Kenai Fjords National Park is a delightful location right next door to Crescent Lake, and camping is available at Bear Creek RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Crescent Lake is Canyon Creek; after a long day outdoors Hotel Edgewater and Conference Center is a great place to spend a night or two.       Trail Lake Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Lake Trail. You get a glorious vista of Wrong Mountain from Crescent Lake; the Devils Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Crescent Lake; October is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is May. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on                  Sixmile River. High temperatures at Crescent Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Crescent Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
