If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Crater Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Lowe River offers some great whitewater, and if you've had enough of Crater Lake, Deep Lake is nearby. You might want to pay a visit to Goat Gully if you're here at Crater Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Crater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bayside Rv Park. This lake is so wonderful.       There are some glorious whitewater spots on Valdez Glacier Stream; do pay a visit to Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve while you're here at Crater Lake. Crater Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through September while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in the Chugach Mountains. There's so much to do here at Crater Lake that you need to                  camp here for a while, Valdez Mobile Home and RV Park is a magnificent place for that, and you need to take a look at Camicia Glacier since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Robe Lake is one of those close by, and dry warm beds await you at Valdez Harbor Inn. At Crater Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 60's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Crater Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Chugach Mountains.
