So much amusing stuff to do in the Chugach Mountains, not sufficient time. All through the months of summer at Crater Lake highs are mostly in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Crater Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Cameron Creek is a stream you can explore while you're       here, and if you come at the right time of year, Lowe River offers some tremendous whitewater. You definitely have to adore Crater Lake. Looking for a nice journey? Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is quite in the vicinity of Crater Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Valdez Harbor Inn. If you came to camp Bayside Rv Park is a glorious spot to do that, and Goat Gully is close at hand, and is a great spot. Crater Lake is located                  in the Chugach Mountains. The high level of rainfall makes Crater Lake a pretty wet place; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. Camicia Glacier is a perfect place to check out while in the vicinity, and Valdez Harbor Inn is a perfect site to get some rest. This spot, the Chugach Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things.
