Lakes are great; Dunlin Lake is a lake that's right next door to Crane Lake, and a cool spot to pop by is Gray Cliff. Crane Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Kenai River Family Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Best Western King Salmon Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. Summertime at Crane Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down

| | to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Crane Lake. At Crane Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is when it's the driest.
